Looking at those I think you can safely say its improved a bit, it didn't look too inspiring.

In the last shot..If you look at that row of trees/hawthorns running out of shot to the right go down a further 100yds or so and you will come to the old Beach pub. I think this is at the bottom of Seaside avenue. I am going by a postcard in a book by 'Brian Slade' called 'Minster in Sheppey in old picture postcards' this says that the original pub burnt down in 1934.

Lining this picture up with the one in the book the leas would be out of shot to the right hand side and continuing on till that little row of what looks like a terrace of chimmney pots in the right distance.

If you go to this link you will see the two houses on the left of the road going off in the distance to the left centre of shot..This is Scarborough Drive and the houses are still white in colour.
