Title: The Blue Jug Restaurant Gillingham High Street
Post by: sturoberts1975 on May 18, 2014, 19:23:48
I am wondering if anyone can help me?

My Wife's late grandparents owned a restaurant in Gillingham High Street, It would have been around the 1960's, from family information gathered it was called 'The Blue Jug' and would have been close to where the Library is, sadly we have no other information.

Any information would be greatly appreciated

Sturoberts1975, could it have been somewhere on the opposite side of the road from where the library is?

colin haggart, it could possibly have been opposite, sadly there are no surviving family members that were involved with ownership.

The half owner was Olive Seargeant, we do not know the names of the other couple that co-owned (possibly Alf Merryweather). We are just taking a punt in the dark that somebody may have memories or information.
