Title: Dover Cemeteries
Post by: msk on November 13, 2017, 12:18:06
Hello :)
I have been trying to find a comprehensive list of all Cemeteries in Dover, especially Roman Catholic ones, which were used in the 1960's - namely 1963.
I'm trying to locate the grave site of one widow, Catherine Kelly, whose date of death was 29 September 1963.  She was resident at St Augustine's Nursing Home, Kearsney Manor Nr Dover at the time of her passing.
If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be really grateful.  Many thanks in advance.

Have you come across http://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/Research/Libr/MIs/MIslist.htm (http://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/Research/Libr/MIs/MIslist.htm)?  I couldn't see too much at Dover itself but it can be of more general use.  Are any of the cemeteries just outside Dover and therefore listed at some other place?

 Dover District Council  (https://www.dover.gov.uk/Community/Burials-Cemeteries/Cemetery-Locations.aspx)

There may be a Roman Catholic section within the cemeteries. There could be graveyards attached to Roman catholic churches as well.
