A few more from Canterbury.

Old street name:

This is in Stour Street.

Also in Stour Street. The light was bad and it hasn't focused too well.

Old Writing on Walls

I am trying to start a new topic on the subject of old writing on wall such as you would have seen on shop wall years ago.

My three to start off with, Hope to post some more.

This one is getting more and more faded as time goes on.
It was clearer not so long ago and some one thought it was a goo idea to put in a
window over the picture.

From what I can see of it, it looks like the boy has bought the wrong spuds.
I am guessing that this is from the 1950s.

This one looks like an advert for some one called Ar
thur, cannot quite make out the surname, again the window blocks out the writing, the first letter looks like A.

In this one, the writing is over something else, and you do not seam to hear words like the ones on the wall so much today.
