A gem of a find !
The Worthingtons of Dover were the first of the brewers there, prior to Allen.  Excellent information on the pubs website, as usual!

A stone jug, dating from between 1885 and 1889, the dates when the brewery was operated by John James Allen. Another boot fair find yesterday
