Hello, I am running a community oral history project about Milton Creek and it's former industries. I am looking for people to interview who used to work in any of the four main industries along the Creek: Barge Building, Brick Making, Paper Mills and Cement Works, or people who grew up in the area and remember what the industries or had family members who worked in them.

We are looking for interesting stories about what the Creek and Industries were like. The recordings will be Archived for future reference and used as the basis for a Dramatic Production, local learning packs, a story competition, a website and DVD - all aimed to engage the local community in the heritage of their area.

Please get in touch or pass my details on to any relevant people.
Thanks
Laura Bailey
