Does anyone recall the Chatham News office on the A2 Watling Street?

I do!
I went in there a few times to take photo's so I could place Happy Birthday ad in the paper.....No scanning or t'internet then!

Did it become The evening post office before it became Metro TV.

I would say yes, i've only known it to be Metro Tv.

Hi    Merc,  I   remember   this   place  i   went pass  it   every  night   on   my
paper round   and i  would   stop   and    look   at  the  photo,s   in  the  window   that   was year   of  1959  age   13year,s.

This was Kent Messengers Gillingham office on the corner of Windmill Road and Canterbury Street, in 1959. Today the building is an electrical goods shop called Metro TV.
