Brewery in Lydd for Sale 1833:

"To be sold by auction  On Monday the seventh day of January 1833 at eleven o'clock in the forenoon precisely,  by Wm BASS, at the George Inn, in Lydd,
All that Brewhouse, 30 feet in length and 18 feet in width, situate in Lydd aforesaid, in the occupation of Mr HAISELL, together with the Malt Mill, flour and malt houses, copper liquor-back, four large cool-backs, hop-back, mash-tub, two tuns, under-back and vats;  and also the way or passage adjoining the brewhouse, of the width of thirty feet.
   The premises are held for a term of 999
 years, commencing 10 October 1794, at the yearly rent of one shilling.
   Immediately afterwards will be SOLD a large quantity of butts, and other casks, one wagon, three carts, harnesses bridle and saddle, plough, shim, drill, two harrows, two drays, barrow, part of a stack of hay, one sack of malt, corn chest, fish house, two draught horses, one working colt, three yearling colts, one hog, &c &c &c.
   And on the Tuesday following at eleven o'clock at the dwelling house of Mr HAISELL in Lydd aforesaid, all the excellent mahogany and other household furniture, feather beds, mattresses, kitchen utensils &c &c.
