ISTR The plaque is down near Brunel Way, on the west side of the road, towards the junction between Dock Road and the blocked off road that joins it to Fieldworks road.  I think the traffic policeman on the right of the photo (with the white sleeves) is standing at that junction.

The downhill slope of the road fits the photo there - at Wood Street looking north you'd be looking uphill.  Also, you can see the dockyard bell in the middle of the photo.
