The Little Ships and the Medway

Quisisana was a craft which went to Dunkirk. Towards the end of or just after the War she was on the Medway as a motor cruiser - owned by Fred Parsons. In the late 1940s she could be seen being sailed by him off Upnor and beyond or moored at Allington as a holiday craft for members of his extented family.

FP had her in a dry dock for repairs and maintenance. The dry dock was created from a lighter by FP and served  Quisisana well.

A photograph in a book about the Little Ships showed derelict her suspended above a boat restorer's yard near Southampton, She was restored (1960s?) and was last seen (by means of Google) on a canal in mid-England.
