Kentish Gazette - Tuesday 16 July 1861

SITTINGBOURNE POLICE COURT.
Magistrates' Clerk's Office, Friday. (Before the Rev. G. B. Moore, and J. Dixon Dyke, Esq.)
Thomas Crampton, a groom, in the service of Mr. Thos. Lake, at Tong, was charged with an indecent assault on Elizabeth Turk, also in the same service at housemaid. - The bench considered the assault clearly proved, and fined the defendant 5 including costs, or in default of payment, to be committed for two months' imprisonment.
