News: The modern name of Kent is derived from the Brythonic word kantos meaning "rim" or "border", or possibly from a homonymous word kanto "horn, hook"

Barnard Bottle Search

Not sure if this is the correct place for this request, but here goes..........

My 2nd. Gt G Father William James Barnard was briefly in the pub / brewing trade as follows:-
1861 Pot Boy N. Foreland PH Chatham. 1865/7, at least, landlord of Tartar Frigate Chatham. 1868 Ginger Beer Brewer, Church Street Chatham. 1871 Soda Water Bottler, Tunstall Place Rochester.

I wonder if any Medwayphile or bottle collector has come across any information etc concerning his brewing or mineral water enterprises? Any info would be appreciated. He wasnt very successful at it though, by 1881 he was a warehouseman.
