Monday, September 18, 1826

It is with pleasure we announce the donation of upwards of 6,000 fossils to the Canterbury Philosophical and Literary Institution. This extensive collection was wholly formed, during a space of 10 years, by Mr. Henry Wright, of Boughton. One series, consisting of about 2,000, was the entire product of excavation of Boughton Hill, for the improvement of the road a few years ago. Another portion were chiefly found on the Gog-ma-Gog Hills of Cambridge, and a third from the tunnel at Chatham...
