Compulsory Purchase

Anyone know of the plans for the church and the green? I was over there yesterday (in a squall) and unable to get close to the church as one used to I found a notice attached to some fencing suggesting that Swale Borough (?) Council or was it Sheerness have compulsory purchased the church and the green and paths in front of it and Naval Terrace. Anyone any ideas what the plans are?

It would be nice if something was done to the church, if not restored at least made safe as a ruin so that it can be visited and admired.
