Bon Marche was owned by the same company which owned Peacocks. It went bust earlier in the year I think.

There is also one in Maidstone, in the Stoneborough Centre.  :)

Isn't there one in Chatham ? I'm sure there is.

Come to think if it, Louisec, I think it did say Chatham on the notice in the photo.

My son has told me that branch has been closed as well, such a shame, that's where I brought most of my clothes.

I know of two other stores, one in Gravesend and the other in Dartford.  I use the one in Gravesend and it is always very busy - so fingers crossed.

I see the Gillingham branch of Bon Marche has closed, there only two shops left now, one in Sheerness, but I cannot remember where the other shop is.

I took this photo before Christmas.
