Me thinks your GGGrandfather was either  Mr C E Hill  or Mr A Willis of Rochester.

My GG grandfather was a Chartist, living in Rochester, who was successful in the Land Ballot in - I think - 1848. He subsequently was awarded a four acre smallholding at Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire. Does anyone have any information on Chartism in Kent?
