If anyone would like it, I have a Google earth kml overlay showing the section plans of the layout in the cemetery. Useful if your visiting and looking for Graves. Pm me with an email address and I will send it to you.

I used to ride my bike around the cemetery when I was about 8 or 9. My sister lived opposite the chapel pictured, a lovely building and so sad to see its current state. I`d love to live there, the war graves were always fascinating to me.

It is Robin. I'll find some images to go with a little narration if you wish to add any too.

Presume this is the Sutton Road Cemetery, if so, it has a very interesting war graves section, including a number of Commonwealth and German graves.

I'll try and follow this up with some posts of the monuments and history etc as I've only just realised there appears to be no thread for Maidstone Cemetery. Prompted by another post here are a few images of the gatehouse/office building now empty and a bit forlorn and one of the chapels which has been fenced off for some time awaiting repair.
