News: “Over the graves of the Druids and under the wreck of Rome,
Rudely but surely they bedded the plinth of the days to come.
Behind the feet of the Legions and before the Norseman’s ire
Rudely but greatly begat they the framing of State and Shire
Rudely but deeply they laboured, and their labour stand till now.
If we trace on ancient headlands the twist of their eight-ox plough.”

Firstly,
Mods, if you feel this needs to be in another sub forum please feel free to move it.

As per my introduction/newbie thread I was pointed in the direction of KHF to see if someone can help me out with some info.

The company I work for has recently purchased the old Happy Eater/Little Chef/Lily Spice (insert any of its other incarnations) building on the A249 at Stockbury Valley.

I'm trying to find any old images of this building/site from its Happy Eater/Little Chef days. The reasons for this are twofold.
Firstly, I have fond memories as a child of visiting such places whilst going on holiday, so it's a bit of a nostalgia and reminiscing exercise.
Secondly, I'm inetrested in photos that show all the original signage, including the one that used to be on the roof.

So, if anyone has got anything that they are happy to share I would be most grateful.
