News: The modern name of Kent is derived from the Brythonic word kantos meaning "rim" or "border", or possibly from a homonymous word kanto "horn, hook"

Auxiliary Unit - Haine Brick Works, Ramsgate

The Brick Works at Haine, Thanet, now occupied by an industrial estate, housed one of the Auxiliary Unit hides.  This was manned by members of the Manston Patrol, led by Norman Steed, and was one of three OBs run by that team.
The OB was under the Factory chimney, see diagram.
The diagram is my rendering of an original drawing by Davis Lampe, published in his 'The Last Ditch' book.
The maps show the position quite well, but try as I might, I can't find an illustration of the Brick Works.  It was there for a long time.  I saw it myself, and I have met several people who worked on the site, but unfortunately I haven't been able to find a photograph.  Has anyone seen a photograph which includes the brick works?
