Courage Directors Bitter Connoisseur 1985
« Reply #1 on: August 11, 2014, 12:32:05 »
In a similar vein to the Shepherd Neame promotion this is one for Courage Directors Bitter Connoisseur from 1985. The idea was to visit 20 pubs in north Kent which were on the Director Bitter Trail to qualify for a free jumper. Although me and a mate completed the 20 pub task we never bothered with getting the jumper, just settled for the beer challenge! And we weren't even much of a fan of Directors. I think these type of promotions are probably frowned upon these days..
Photos attached below, shame the pub stamps weren't as good as the Sheps ones.
