More of the drainage was investigated and cleared above the casemates also, a huge thanks to new volunteer Graham who helped out this week :)

A huge well done to those who came along to this work day.  Unfortunately I was unable to attend but you all achieved so much.  Below are some photos the owner took and he wanted me to pass on his thanks for every ones help.

There was a workshop in one casemate that needed moving into the room we had been clearing last week.  The rest of the plasterboard was removed and the equipment moved into the newly clear workshop.

Xaphan and I were there. The rest of the rubble that was removed from the tunnel last week was taken away. The magazine was cleared out ready to be prepared for painting. Also we continued removing concrete from the drainage gully above the casemates. Not a bad days work.

The next work day at Fort Luton is on Saturday 1st November.  I am not able to make this one so I am sure the owner Rob will be very grateful for any help.  Please let me know if you intend to go as I will let him know who to expect.

10am-4pm, I believe the intention is to carry on clearing the tunnel and rearranging some furniture in one of the casemates.
