A couple of us moved some heavy paving slabs at the fort yesterday. I Was completly worn out afterwards...

At the start of the new year we have one new enthusiastic volunteer (possibly another one next week). He remembers the fort from when it was a model museum and he was sharing his memories :)

I fell a slight hint of the urine being extracted here.............. I did turn up. I did do a little. I did make a brew. :-D

Thanks DTT that was a productive day.

Hi, we should be ok for now. But if we run into problems I will give you a call if that is ok?

Thanks again, it is a really generous offer :)

Yes Kyn, that is fine, we are around in the workshop all day Saturday (rumour is that S4 is going to show up), and not too far from home on Sunday.  DTT

Hi DTT, thank you so much for your kind offer!  The owner has asked me to pass on his thanks too, as you can imagine it isn't an easy problem to solve and anyone willing to loan equipment etc is a lovely offer :)

We currently have two 2,5's running which is allowing the school to run and the owner is hoping to have a 3KV running for the weekend to allow us to have some creature comforts.  Are these about the same size as your one?

Kyn,
I can loan you a generator.  How many KVa do you need?  I suspect you only want a few work lights and power tools.   Speak to SentinelS4 if you want my phone number, our generator is not used from one year to the next.

And so Fort Luton work days begin again :)

Due to a fire in the electrical cupboard, which somehow the local newspaper managed to pick up, we may not have electricity for a little while, although there is hope we may be able to source a generator.  Fingers crossed!

The gates open at 10am and we finish around 4pm.  There should be hot drinks available and if you get cold I will just get you working harder ;)

Let me know if you are coming along so we can plan things to do :)
