Folkestone Warren Used As Training Area ?
« Reply #1 on: February 20, 2016, 16:02:28 »
Has anyone any photographs of the Folkestone Warren being used as an army training area? There was a pistol range just above the lower camping site (as kids we used to dig bullet heads out of the chalk). I was also advised by a friend that he used to find spent mortar rounds below Little Switzerland. I have seen no reference to such activities in any of the books I have read !
