Built 1107 – extended 1334 & 1811.  The birthplace and home of Haymo de Hythe (Bishop of Rochester).

He founded, for the poor people of Hythe, a hospital (St. Andrew’s) in this building in 1336.  In 1685 it became known as Saint Bartholomew’s Hospital.
