Thank you for posting the info yesterday. I went down to the seafront at Thorpe Bay just before 10.30 this am with my 'bins' and sat and waited. Didn't hear any explosion just saw the dust start low down and gradually rising & getting thicker until it completely occluded the chimney and higher but by 10-50 am it was clearing.

I also realised that more of Grain power station has gone leaving the great chimney standing there on it's own. I would be grateful if you hear of the further demolition dates for either that they could be posted on the Forum. Someone posted the contact for the name of the Company in charge of the demolition so I emailed them with the request for dates but they didn't bother to reply to me
