Good evening

I was hoping you all could clarify if Rear Admiral Campbell, who was not present for the sinking of the live bait squadron,. did or did not say at the inquiry, he did not know what the purpose of his own command was. Although sources on the net have said this it seems odd that a senior officer would not know his command. If some one can please clarify on this soon that would be of great help.
