FOR YOUR TOMORROW - Chalk Gravesend remembers
« Reply #1 on: August 29, 2016, 16:50:30 »
A recently written book paying tribute to the 56 men, women and children who paid the ultimate sacrifice during WWI and WWII with a connection to Chalk. Although they all have connections to the wider area of Gravesend and further afield. The 4 cover price is donated to two charities 'TS Lennox" the Gravesend Sea Cadet unit and the Gravesend Deanery Initiative. This book is illustrated and tells the story of all included. Many are not included on the memorial in Chalk Church. Available from Gravesend Towncentric, the Chantry Gravesend, St Mary's Church Chalk, Gravesend Historical Society and ebay.
