Thank you smiffy for finding a nice clear photograph.  It also shows the Fountain PH so that means it must have been opposite Cage Lane?

This is the only picture I can find that shows the shoe repairers. Now an Oxfam shop, I believe.

These shoe repairer shops were mentioned in the Boutique topic.  Does anyone on here remember either of these shops?
