I recently posted a request about access to the Shorts tunnels, which appears to have been deleted - not sure why.  Having done some googling today, I have found a message on another site that says this Forum has in the past arranged group access to the Shorts tunnels.  Is that still the case and if so, are there any current plans to access the tunnels?

At Rochester Library on Saturday 4th. February 2017 there will be a talk about the SHORTS TUNNELS. Built by Oswald Short before the start of World War ll to protect the workforce he so much 'loved' and to continue to manufacture parts underground when times got tough. The afternoon starts at 4.30pm. There will be a month long (February) exhibition of the new display panels - ROCHESTER 1917 -1947 and SHORTS BOYS including some new ones found recently. The 2016 Young Peoples Art Competition twelve chosen pieces of work will also be on display for the month.
