Thanks for that smiffy. The map I was looking at for that area was not detailed enough to show the individual terraces.

Hi Leofwine,

New Brompton Terrace and St Mary's Place were (and still are) in Mill Road.

Does anyone know where New Brompton Terrace was in New Brompton?

I have found it listed in the 1855 Post Office Directory, where there is a listing for a Captain Charles Bentley at No. 3 and a Mrs Mary Smith at No. 2.

Melville's Directory of 1858 lists Arthur Butcher, Esq. and Mrs Mary Smith residing there.

I can't find a later listing for the address.
