Before the NAAFI club was built c.1950, it was the site of the Army Pay and Records office. I think these buildings were put up in the late 1920s or early 1930s (it shows up on the 1932 OS), but may have been earlier.

Dont know what was there prior to WW2. Before it was built as the NAAFI after the war the site was occupied by Army Huts and Military buildings.
