Hi Trikeman – A great aerial view of our recent archaeological excavations on the Grand Shaft Barracks site, Dover Western Heights. I haven't done a formal reply on the Forum because DDC said they would do it – this doesn't seem to have happened yet.

Anyway, it was an evaluation to test the extent of the surviving remains of the Grand Shaft Barracks – lots of below ground foundations still left.

What is happening around the Grand Shaft? Looks like excavations to me. See picture taken in nov
