Hello cliveh,

I managed to speak with one of the dockyard staff today who worked there prior to its closure. He advised it was to the eastern side of the dockyard on the continuation of what is now called East Road, past the North mast pond towards the basins. He remembers a radiographical building being there. Could there have been more than one?

Thanks for that Longpockets  :)

This IWM photo © IWM (A 31397) is said to be the 'Naval Radiographical Laboratory, Chatham 1948'  I presume it was in the Dockyard somewhere? Anyone have any ideas or recognize the building?
