I popped down there today by train and bus.
Saw several familiar faces ;D
It was a good event i think....hats off to WHPS,volunteers,re-enactors and all the marshals  ***

Just got back from the open day.
There didn't seem to be the number stalls, displays etc that have been down there before.
Anyway always good to have a look around again.

Also,the word "Caponier" originates from the French word "caponnière" - which strictly means capon-cote i.e. "Chickenhouse".
Possibly someone thought a Caponier looked like one ???
