Well...that's the landscape changed now. Not sure whether losing them was a good or bad thing, just looks so different.

Well, it was good!
Me and the family were up near the fort. Got there just in time to see it after abandoning the car and running across the old EKR trackbed along with a dozen other people - that was a bit surreal. Then took about an hour to get out but everyone was very jolly.
There's already some vids up on Youtube.

During the 1976 dock strike we were picketing a small wharf that was unloading barges near the power station when quite a few of the lads working at the station stood with us for a while to show support.

Plenty of people (including me) taking pictures today. I'm planning to take some of the demolition tomorrow morning (if my alarm goes off in time  :)). Any other KHF members going to be around?
