News: “Over the graves of the Druids and under the wreck of Rome,
Rudely but surely they bedded the plinth of the days to come.
Behind the feet of the Legions and before the Norseman’s ire
Rudely but greatly begat they the framing of State and Shire
Rudely but deeply they laboured, and their labour stand till now.
If we trace on ancient headlands the twist of their eight-ox plough.”

Hythe Ranges during WW1 With Martello Tower no. 14.
When you've got your back to wall, there's only one thing to do and that's to turn around and fight. (John Major)

Interesting how it has evolved from the days of IRA posters to Saddam

This is the one at Hythe..

http://www.bing.com/maps/default.aspx?v=2&FORM=LMLTCP&cp=sh8s3fh2mt50&style=b&lvl=2&tilt=-90&dir=0&alt=-1000&phx=0&phy=0&phscl=1&scene=7662284&encType=1

If you rotate it you can see the poster of Saddam.

The one at Lydd..

I have never been on those ones as most of my shooting was on serial one and two at Hythe. I did have
one session on the falling target one at Hythe, not sure what the number was, seven maybe?

I'm not sure if this is the correct category, but these shots are of the firing ranges on the Kent coast.
