These two photos of my late Mother are undated but I believe them to have been taken about 1948/1949 though I may be out by a year or so. The backgrounds are worth study and possible debate, one being obvious with its view of distant Luton. The other, which looks to have been taken at the same time, shows what appears to be Wayfield under construction. Other photos in this collection date to this period of time more definitely.
