The photo was of the cottages at the back of Ightham Mote.  Many years ago (too many to recall) you accessed Ightham from this road and entered  from a gate by the garden. Have attached another view of same for you Leofwine.

Thanks Peter.  Have deleted most photos now that I did before 'solving the prob'.  However despite not seeing the Marc Char. window image in photobucket, it still appears in one of posts.  Thanks anyway for your concern.

Hi Peterchall.

Thanks again.  Took your advice and clicked modify and deleted codes.  Looks okay to me now, but can you please check for me and let me know if its now clear.  Hopefully only large photos displayed and no other access.

Hi Ann,
Yes, your problem posts are now clear of any residue. I think we’d better explain to other forum members what happened, to avoid confusion.

When I made my world shaking discovery (Reply#25) that by right clicking a picture I could get its size by clicking ‘Properties’, I also found that by right clicking Ann's problem pictures I could select ‘Open Link’, which opened her Photobucket album so that I could see all her photos. This doesn’t happen with her ‘problem solved’ pictures from #39, anyone else’s pictures, or even my own – the ‘Open Link’ option is greyed out and can’t be used. So I PMd her and she deleted the offending photos, which left the ‘Photo has been Deleted’ display in the posts.

However, by right clicking that, I was still able to break into her album, apparently because, although the photo has been deleted from the Photobucket Album, it leaves a reference code in the post. By using ‘Modify’, Ann has deleted that, so now only the text of the post is left.

I wouldn't like to think that anyone could see all the pictures in my album without my consent (yes - they are all legal Smiley), and I wonder whether somebody knowledgeable enough could ‘doctor’ them. I've no idea what the cause was but hope all is now OK.

Thanks Peterchall,
Good idea to explain to the forum what had happened.
Glad its all sorted out now, and I can put pictures on to the forum if I wish.  A really big thankyou again to everyone for their input, suggestions and help.

You're welcome, Ann. It would be interesting to see if you can now post one of your original 'problem pictures' full-size.

That's fine. When I right click on your picture the 'Open Link' option is greyed out and I can't look at your Photobucket Album, which is as it should be. I probably wouldn't understand what the cause of your problem was even if somebody tried to explain it. The answer I usually get from 'those who know' is that I pressed the wrong button!
