All Hallows Coastguard Cottage
Smugglers have always been a huge problem to police and as a result many Coastguard Cottages were constructed around the coast to catch smugglers bringing goods ashore.  At All Hallows the Coastguard Cottage can still be seen, although now a private residence with a bay window which gave a lovely clear view out to sea.  This building was also in use as a Port War Signal station until 1923.
