This is a plan of Folkestone West Battery which was situated about 500 yards west of the main Copt point battery, this site was manned by 339 heavy battery RA from july 1940 until may 1942 when they were replaced by 413 coast battery with elements of No.5 platoon "B" Company, 8th battalion home guard.
