Tenuous Link to a Book on Timpson Coaches below.
Interesting to see that the Tunnels ran under a long length of Boundary Road

Timpsons had premises at the junction of Boundary Road and Hardres Street until the mid sixties when the building was taken over as Invicta Motors body repair shop (main Ford Agent). Sorry, no knowledge of their operation.
This placemark should show the premises in Google Earth ... http://ramsgatehistory.com/gemaps/Timpsons_Coaches.kmz

Does anyone have any recollections, knowledge of Timpson Coach Offices and services from Boundary Road Ramsgate to London please?  Alexander Timpson and his business came from Plumstead and I recall the Timpson Coach Garage on the South Circular at Catford.
