I think they were still there in 1964/1965 as that's when Trevor and I were both in Mr Blatchley's class at Troy Town.  He was a bright and lively kid and I had fun with him and my other pals in the class.  They were mainly boys as I was a tomboy!

My schoolfriend Trevor Jacobs lived in Bardell Terrace.  We sat next to each other in Mr Blatchley's class at Troy Town.  Trevor had an older brother called Stephen - I didn't really know him well.  Good looking pair of lads, as I recall!

numanfan.. I cant thank you enough (pic) my house was no.2 so I can see my front door
Il be honest it quite choked me seeing it for real,so many good and bad memories,
I cant wait to show my children,my nan lived in no.3 .our playground was a builders
yard between the Crown court and the Dairy aswell as playing round Adlards wharf.
From my bedroom at the back I used to watch people going into the Odeon picture house
on a saturday morning ,I would wait till they had nearly all gone in before I left to
go in for saturday morning pictures as in them days the children waiting there had a
queue right up the alley by pictures up past the toilets at Star hill and past the bus
stop, good old days.

Anyone remember Bardell terrace,Rochester or have any pictures of this road,
I would love to see them it had 18 house in a row all 3 storey old railway
houses and 2 more facing Corporation street,I lived there as a child my
house had no electric upstairs no bath or toilet just a tin bath out back
and a toilet at the bottom of the garden,we had one cold tap and lived
a very basic life back then. I have been trying to describe these houses
to my children as I only have a picture taken at the back of my house,
In the corner of my garden was part of a cafe the entrance in Furrels road,
it was set alight when i was 13 and i still have my claim to fame newspaper
alas i have no way of putting it on here.
