News: The modern name of Kent is derived from the Brythonic word kantos meaning "rim" or "border", or possibly from a homonymous word kanto "horn, hook"

This picture, extracted from 'About my Place', shows, from R to L, Woolworth's, a single shop (until recently it was Tchibo's), then Primark's (shown in Yellow Pages as No196-198). Next to that is No200 but next to that is a new building sited on what was Meeting House Lane in the Reply#57 photo. So has Meeting House Lane been moved?
Compare the number of shops between Woolworth's and BHS in the 1937 Kelley's.

It's no use getting old if you don't get artful
